Restaurant Coordinator

Pay rate: $9.50 - $10/hour based on experience. Plus $0.50/hour end-of-season bonus for every hour you worked during the season.

 

Restaurants sales are an important (and growing) part of our business. The Restaurant Coordinator is the person most responsible for ensuring that produce items are made available to restaurants for ordering and for getting them to restaurants on time and in good condition. The Restaurant Coordinator will:

 

·         Create a biweekly restaurant availability list, with input from Wyatt, the Harvest Manager, and the 63rd St Farm Manager. This should include all the vegetables, herbs, and fruits we could possibly sell to restaurants—it’s important not to miss items for inclusion or include unsuitable items!

·         Work with our new online restaurant ordering system to compile orders for each day.

·         Keep track of any changes to invoices and make these changes in our bookkeeping.

·         Pack produce for restaurants on most Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays throughout the season. Make deliveries to restaurants on Tuesdays and Fridays.

·         (Possibly) call restaurants to try and sell anything we have a lot of.

·         Maintain a valid driver’s license and good driving record.
